About Ian Farrar
Ian is a fifteen year old artist - who has always had a passion for creativity, he has a different way of looking at the world. He can visualize and construct in his mind and know what he needs before you put your feet on the floor in the morning! He LOVES drawing, painting, sculpting as well as building with Legos or recycled materials. His drawings show a powerful style emphasizing line and shape in his pen and ink drawings. From an early age he was able to start at one point in the drawing and complete the drawing with beautiful style and proportions. Ian shares his creative streak with his brother Sean - https://fineartamerica.com/artists/sean+farrar - We've gone through countless sketchbooks and markers, pencils and pens lay around the house, waiting for the boys to just pick them up and make some magic. When they were younger, I loved to see them lying on the floor together, Ian would be drawing something, and Sean would be there watching and copying. I LOVE IT more than anything. Essentially they taught each other and continue to do so, I just gave them the right materials and encouragement. I love to see what they are going to do next and can't wait to see what life has in store for them!
